Professional Experience
Mwangala is a Senior Associate and Head of the Corporate and Conveyancing department.
She holds a Master’s Degree in Commercial and Corporate Law from the University of Lusaka, a Bachelor of Laws Degree from the University of London, United Kingdom and is a qualified Advocate of the Superior Courts of Zambia. Mwangala is also an associate member of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators. Mwangala is also a member of the Law Association of Zambia.
Mwangala is a corporate lawyer with a wealth of experience in local and international commercial transactions. She has attained significant experience in rendering legal advice to clients in various areas such sale and purchase agreements, mergers and acquisitions, labour and employment law, banking and finance, public procurement laws, Government regulations as well as public-private partnership agreements and transactions.
Mwangala has considerable expertise in public and private international law which includes treaty negotiations and practice, diplomatic relations, consular law, extradition, and mutual legal assistance matters, having worked in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation and the Ministry of Justice under the International Law and Agreements Department. Mwangala contributed to the drafting of the Anti-Human Trafficking Act, 2022 and the National Policy on Human Trafficking and Smuggling of Migrants when she served as a Member of the National Committee in Human Trafficking.

- Zambia Institute of Advanced Legal Education (ZIALE) Certificate.
- Bachelor of Laws (Hons.) Degree University of London, United Kingdom.
